Reportedly, Canadian volunteer Jesse Adams was killed by a Russian FPV drone on October 25 while evacuating animals from Kramatorsk. Animal Rescue Kharkiv stated the drone struck their evacuation vehicle directly through the windshield, causing fatal injuries to Adams. He had joined the team in May 2026 and served in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 16 years. His organization, RainCoast Dog Rescue Society, confirmed his death, noting he was sent to Ukraine with two other volunteers.
