Reportedly, Iran's IRGC announced they intercepted a US MQ-170 military spy drone and landed it in the western part of the Strait of Hormoz using electronic warfare. Initial information recovered from the drone suggested its origin was from the coast of a country bordering the southern Persian Gulf.
