Reportedly, Albanian students gathered outside the Ministry of Education in Tirana demanding Prime Minister Edi Rama's resignation. They set trash bins on fire and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at police, who responded with water cannons and tear gas. The clashes lasted about 30 minutes before a heavy downpour thinned the crowd, and protesters moved on toward the Government Palace.
