Reportedly, the People's Fighters Front (Jaysh al-Adl) established a checkpoint on the road between Khash and Zahedan in Sistan and Balochistan. Militants were reportedly armed with Chinese Type 56-1 rifles and customized AKM pattern rifles featuring DDR-style wire side-folding stocks.
