Reportedly, Russian forces launched waves of older piston-engine Geran drones at Ukraine today, according to adviser Sergey "Flash" Beskrestnov. He stated that thick cloud cover may have hindered interceptor crews from spotting the aircraft. Telegram channels are sharing videos showing strike drones over Kiev and western Ukraine. The Ukrainian military channel Nikolayevsky Vanyok reported attacks on substations powering electricity, heating, and railway traction systems. Many were shot down, but numerous drones penetrated defenses. Local channels in Chernivtsi report a raid underway with explosions heard across the city.
