Reportedly, Iran's Fars News Agency stated a U.S. MQM-170 drone was brought down intact west of the Strait of Hormuz. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy claims its electronic warfare unit seized the drone's guidance and control systems and landed it. Iran alleges the aircraft launched from the coast of a Gulf state on the southern shore.
