Reportedly, two Ivorian brothers received Russian passports after SMO service in Chuvashia

Reportedly, two brothers from Côte d'Ivoire received Russian passports after serving in the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Chuvash Republic, they completed preparatory courses in summer 2025, signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, and fought in assault units. The ministry noted they earned citizenship through courage, risking themselves multiple times while aiding wounded comrades and being wounded themselves. A special procedure for acquiring Russian citizenship was applied to them.
