Reportedly, several hundred people gathered in Zurich's Langstrasse district on Saturday night. Many wore masks or Halloween costumes after online calls for an unauthorized protest against war and rearmament. Protesters set a car on fire, burned containers, e-bikes, scooters, and smashed windows at a tram stop and shops. Police responded with water cannons, tear gas, and rubber bullets while being pelted with fireworks and stones. Things calmed down around 1:30 AM.
