Reportedly, Russian shadow fleet tanker LOUISE 1 was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz Friday. Reuters reports a small boat approached and attached two magnetic mines to its port side, causing explosions and fire; the ship is temporarily out of service but continues with no casualties among the 27 Indian crew members. Separately, Ukrainian forces claimed drone strikes on tankers LOUISE 1 and Banda in the Black Sea last July, though responsibility for the Hormuz attack remains unclaimed.
